The Super Bowl was this Sunday and people all across the country watched as the Denver Broncos took home the most elusive trophy in professional football. Our favorite events of this Super Bowl weekend were reviewed across the web; here’s what we think they did best.
The world famous fashion and lifestyle journal has been making quite an impression on the tech and media world with it’s New Establishment Summit. It only makes sense that the event planners at Vanity Fair would try to capitalize on their new found success. Jon Bon Jovi was the star performer (and host) of the event and helped pack the event space in downtown San Francisco full of celebrity A-listers. January Jones, Amy Adams, Joe Jonas, Adriana Lima, Adrian Grenier, and athlete Alex Rodriguez (among others) were all seen at the exclusive invite-only event. The pre-game cocktail party was sponsored by Land’s End.
Another publication, Rolling Stone, threw a party at the Galleria in the San Francisco Design Center (at up to $55,000 a ticket). DJs Avicii and Alesso kept the party going all night with EDM music and “blew the roof off” the “rave-like” event. A TAO-branded VIP area with Belvedere as the official vodka of the event was host to celebrities and athletes alike; Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Durant, Amir Khan, Katherine McPhee, Andi Dorfman, Miss USA and the newly crowned Miss Universe were all in attendance. When partygoers were all danced out, a Wendy’s food truck was there providing made-to-order burgers and everyone’s favorite chocolate and vanilla Frosties.
Perhaps the largest and most star-studded event of the weekend, the Maxim Super Bowl party was hosted on Treasure Island turned into a one night rave for Maxim’s 2016 Super Bowl PartyTreasure Island, a 50,000 square foot waterfront party center overlooking the city of San Francisco. The event, which featured a red carpet, a memorabilia tent, multiple interactive areas including Dodge Thrill Ride Experience, an open bar, Top 40 hits from Jay-Z to Justin Bieber, a live performance by Lil’ Wayne, and food from San Francisco’s favorite local restaurants. Event planners included concert sound, theatrical lighting & effects, full LED video walls and risers for exclusive VIP Tables on different levels.
Whether your event is being hosted in Hollywood or Hoboken, the Super Bowl presents the perfect time to throw an incredible event. As always, the dedicated team at Fourth Wall Events is here to ensure no yellow penalty flags get thrown at your next event.
