Traveling for an event or corporate meeting is a fantastic idea, and if you do it right, it can be the perfect mix of business and pleasure. At Fourth Wall Events, we’re constantly on the lookout for the best event destination and recently highlighted our Top Downtown Meeting Destination.
But if you’re nervous about the logistics surrounding a destination event, you can relax, because Google is set the launch a solution we will all find useful.
Introducing Google Trips
Google has already conquered the way we communicate, shop, and search for information, and the tech giant has now turned its sights on those with the travel bug with its new app: Trips.
The program blends personal travel data, such as Maps, Flight Search, and Local Guides, to present flight, hotel, restaurant, and car rental information to users at a moment’s notice. Although this might sound like the service already offered by sites, such as Expedia or Hotwire, Google Trips takes it a step further by pulling data from you emails to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
According to Yahoo! Tech, Google Trips isn’t restricted by Internet connectivity, and can still be accessed when web access is spotty.
The official release date for Google Trips is TBD, but extensive testing is currently underway, and it will only be a matter of time before it allows destination event attendees to plan and execute their trips.
With each new advance in technology, our customers come closer and closer to creating the perfect design–but nothing can match the detail-oriented, personal and familiar touch of your dedicated partners at Fourth Wall Events. Our event planning team has years of experience turning event concepts into reality, and we’re ready to help you out. Contact Fourth Wall today!
